I have tried three different times to submit a review or contact customer service--with no response yet. Though my pickup guy was nice and did his best, I'm nonetheless completely dissatisfied with the service I received.
I had a pickup scheduled last Saturday for a large two-piece sectional. I paid extra for the couch disassembly service. So I was surprised when the pickup team arrived and it was... one guy! For a large, two-piece couch with disassembly! In a third-floor walkup!
The guy did not disassemble the couch and tried to drag it out himself. I ended up having to help, and after 30 minutes of pivoting, we finally got both pieces down the stairs. I was sweaty and sore.
I'm completely confused as to how I paid $150 to have someone else move my couch, only to have to do a large part of the work myself. Moreover, even though I paid for disassembly service, the guy didn't disassemble anything! The larger piece of the sectional was disassembled to get it INTO my apartment, which is why I paid to have it disassembled to remove it. Yet this did not happen. I did not get what I paid for.
If I wanted to move my own couch out, I could have bribed a friend with beer and pizza for a lot less than $150. If I wanted to try to move the big piece of the couch without disassembling it, ending up sore and sweaty, I could have done so myself. I paid you guys so that I wouldn't have to, but I had to anyway.
I'm completely dissatisfied and think I deserve a refund for this service. At the very least, I need to be refunded for the disassembly service I paid for, as--again--no disassembly occurred!
