Couture Candy has cheated me twice. They do not make their 5 day return policy or restocking fee apparent. My first dress I ordered in June was back ordered until October but came in July while I was not in town to receive. They didn’t want to give me a refund. After 2 conversations with management, they agreed to refund me minus the restocking fee for a store credit. Because I had to use the credit and wanted to trust this company, I next ordered a 1400$ dress that I figured would be excellent quality, however, when it arrived I immediately put it on only to find that it was worse than the first $400 dress I bought. Trust me I know that money doesn’t always correlate to better quality. The current dress has a purposed slit up side of one leg, but after 3 steps the hip part of the dress is sitting on my waist and my pelvic area is completely exposed. I immediately called in and for 2 days no one answered. I finally emailed and got the response that they would issue a store credit for half the amount because of a 50% restocking fee because the dress was custom made. If the dress were custom made it would fit me. How can a dress be custom if they didn’t do any measurement on me? Please be aware and learn from my mistakes.
