Rep was obvious a former double glazing salesman! Was here for 2-3 hours. Quote started at over £3000. Eventually got to £2250 which we accepted. This supposedly included cutting up the old door into 4-6 pieces for me to take to the tip. The installers arrived on time as agreed. I mentioned the cutting up of the door. They looked at the quote and said this did not include cutting up! They said no problem they would fold the door in half and take it away in their van and would charge Crocodile for their efforts. So that was alright for us. The installers were very friendly and competent. Finished the job in half a day as promised. Installers gave us full instructions on door operation and features and left me with installation and operation manuals. Door seems ok after several weeks. Aluminum threshold was fitted so the door is sealed to ground when closed.
