“My experience is their doors look top of the ra ge but come at a price. for a single garage roller door they quoted North of £3000. for that they don't take away the old door. They also charge over £200 if you require extra door remotes.
They wouldn't give an estimate over the phone”

Both of the fitting crew, Paul and Paul were both friendly and efficient they explained, in detail the workings of the electric door and fittings. They cleaned up after the installation, took the old garage door away with them.

“Had crocodile round to quote for a standard sized electric roller shutter garage door. Start price of 3k although Jerry the salesman said it should be more expensive and should be 3300, as he was leaving he said 2750, and then wrote down 2700. Today the receptionist called and said they had a surveyor in the area and they could come and remeasure and the price would be cheaper at 2400.”
“Just had a new roller door fitted by local company to replace the overpriced badly fitted inferior quality door which constantly failed to work despite visit from their one engineer in the country to service all doors at £500 a time.”

Gabriel arrived within a couple hours and did a fabulous job to turn something seriously damaged into something workable. Great to deal with. Polite, focused and making sure his work is of quality.”
“Ordered my garage door told the salesman what colour, who replied oh yes we match all the front door colours don’t worry will be the same colour!! At this stage I was waiting for my new front door but had the colour code told the sales rep, forward about 8-10 weeks was told 6 weeks but hey garage door arrived before my new front door ,I know I should of waited until front door was fitted but I was promised this is the correct colour etc etc had garage door fitted then front door arrives the garage door is definitely not the same RAL number as the front door..I let crocodile know who basically said that’s the right colour??…forward to today I had the garage door tested with a colour machine it’s not the same RAL colour number I asked which I already knew from just looking at it..contacted crocodile to say I’m now having to spend out another £325 on getting the door sprayed on top of the£2.5k I paid ,I have had so many excuses as to why the garage door is not the correct colour oh it’s the material blah blah , and the machine that was used isn’t correct crocodile your excuses are unbelievable have said I’m going to trading standards as I feel like I’ve been done over , to which they kinda said good luck with that all I was asking is for £325 back to pay for the correct colour to be sprayed but nope they seem like they are robots reading from script, also the garage door is suppose to stop lowering if someone is standing underneath it , mine doesn’t it continues luckily it was my husband but if it had been a child they would have been injured. This has not even been addressed from crocodile they buy the doors from a third party then sell as their own please think about it before buying, myself I won’t even recommend them..I also add I was asked to take my review down as they didn’t deserve it”
“The two roller garage doors were fitted seamlessly by Paul and Chris who showed excellent knowledge of the product and how to fit them . I would give them five stars what stopped that was the lack of customer communication , the salesman stated I would have my doors fitted in six to eight weeks after ten weeks I communicated my displeasure at no information to immediately receive a phone call and be told I was in the wrong as , quote, it was not a contract it was an estimate several times no attempt at an apology . Further the salesman told me my old doors would be cleared away but did not put it on paperwork he also told me the fitter would be my personal contact for any future problems , I was told by fitters ,, crocodile have their own service team, so Customer relations no star”

“Salesman came yesterday following a 1 1/2 hour sales pitch which reminded me of the double glazing salesman that visited my parents in the 80s. Like other reviews high price then the discounts followed and a call this morning with more discounts. Which I find frustrating just quote the best price and I will make my decision. Had another company around within 20 mins they gave me a price no nonsense no offers of discount that's the price left it with me no follow up calls or pressure, placed my order today sorted .”
“This company sent a technician that removed our door motor , left it on the floor and drove away. Do not use them and if you get a technician called Danny, stay away he has no idea what he is doing!!! Stay away from these guys”
“Crazy sales technic. Started off at £6000+ quickly came down to £4k ish then reduced another few hundred, watched my reaction, then another couple of hundred reduction because door was also being fitted locally (not convinced). I didn’t commit, the salesman left after 2hrs saying I’d get a further offer next day, which I did (still too high) Lost confidence in this company just plucking prices out of the sky while watching your reaction.
Looked around a bit and eventually got quote £1k under crocodile’s bottom price. And yes I checked all the spec. My cheaper quote exceeded the spec of crocodiles: same motor, same panel width, additional fobs all with 5year parts/labour warranty. Look around before using crocodile and being subjected to their 2hr 1980s style sales pitch.”
“Crocodile did not leave me happy. I arranged a survey & salesman came almost 3 hours later. He just wanted to tell me why his company was the best & when I suggested that I would need to talk to family about it he pushed for appointment to tell them how good company was. He would not give me a quote or any idea of costs & although he said that he would ring me back has not done so.
Since then I have had another company quote which I accepted. They were here less than an hour but gave me a chance to answer any questions.
Why did I even bother with Crocodile???”
“My two year old garage roller shutter suddenly decided to not function properly rang company on Monday 1 July 24.had call from Engineer that day to see he would come next day, he arrived 8 am and fixed to my satisfaction within an hour.... Great Service Indeed

“Same as everyone else. Pushy salesman who started at £2500 then miraculously found someone in the area having one fitted. Price dropped to £2000. Told him still not interested so eventually he left. Lo and behold phone call from crocodile the following day offering more discount. Not impressed and got a much better deal elsewhere”
“Rep was obvious a former double glazing salesman! Was here for 2-3 hours. Quote started at over £3000. Eventually got to £2250 which we accepted. This supposedly included cutting up the old door into 4-6 pieces for me to take to the tip. The installers arrived on time as agreed. I mentioned the cutting up of the door. They looked at the quote and said this did not include cutting up! They said no problem they would fold the door in half and take it away in their van and would charge Crocodile for their efforts. So that was alright for us. The installers were very friendly and competent. Finished the job in half a day as promised. Installers gave us full instructions on door operation and features and left me with installation and operation manuals. Door seems ok after several weeks. Aluminum threshold was fitted so the door is sealed to ground when closed.”
