I can’t believe how bad Curry’s have got after using the company for many years with no problems.
I purchased a Kenwood cooker (it is their own brand who Curry’s make under licence!) during lockdown. With 2 key workers in my home I needed reliability. What a joke!!
The cooker broke down after four months and we had to wait over 3 weeks to repair. It then broke down again after another 4 months with the same problem. It took over 2 months to get it fixed for the second time. The engineer even said this is a common fault and their elements only last 4 months as Curry’s use cheaper elements at £10 rather than £17 for a better replacement!
Curry’s now state that their appliances need to break 3 times in the first 12 months for them to even “consider” a replacement! This is “their” warranty terms.
I have lost faith in the cooker and asked for a replacement or refund which has been refused too.
The emotional stress, constant telephone calls, the run around and outright lies that this company has come out with is unbelievable! I have been pushed around from pillar to post!
I have lost so much sleep with the stress this has made me ill I have also had to spend so much more money on microwave meals during a time that has been stressful enough. I am going to inform Trading Standards and continue through their complaints procedures because this is shocking.
