A few days ago I visited Oxford Currys PC World to buy a computer. The model I wanted was not in stock but I was told it would be there without fail today, which fitted in (just) with my travelling. I went back and the computer had not arrived.Furthermore, they could not say when it would arrive!
After a 15 minute wait, I got my refund and then asked to speak with the Store Manager. After another 10 minute delay, he finally arrived and listened to my complaint. I have never seen anyone so disinterested in what a customer had to say - it was actually rude.
The story had a happy ending; I could buy the computer at John Lewis at the same price with a two year guarantee and attentive shop assistants.
