A lot of the geekiness and overpriced goods have been swept away and what has emerged is a slick but helpful network of outlets with sales assistants who are genuinely keen to help and a range of good products at good prices. My little HP scanjet 300 was within a couple of pounds of the best internet price and I could see and touch it to gauge the build quality before buying. Good place to browse & buy.
