Selected and Paid for a dryer in store on Sunday 07/10/18. Staff very helpful and sorted out a delivery day for Thursday 11/10/18. I booked a day off work to await the delivery, on the morning of the delivery got a SMS to say it will be delivered between 12.30 and 16.30 Thanks, Team Knowhow.
No sign of them by 16.15 so decided to go on the website and use the tracking number they had also sent me. This informed me that the delivery had been cancelled and will now be arriving on Monday 15/10/18. No phone call, no text, just assumed that someone would be in on that date to accept the order. Tried ringing the number on the receipt, but all I got was an automated service, no option to speak to a human. Sent an email to their customer service to say Monday is not a convenient day to deliver and can they get back in touch with me before then. Got an automated email back saying I am truly important to them and someone will contact me in the next 7 days.
Needless to say I drove back to the store cancelled the order got a full refund (Manager in store could not have been more apologetic, and said that deliveries were out of his hands). Came home and bought one on line, will never use Currys again.
