A few months back I made an order of around a dozen nest products that all needed to be installed by Team KnowHow. I don't want to go too deep into the details but here are a couple of points. After arranging for the installers to bring the equipment to my home to be installed after the payment I received a phone call to say I would have to wait 3-6 months if I wanted them to bring the equipment to me which they didn't tell me at the time. I had to purchase them elsewhere and this meant that KnowHow refunded £400 to me which was how they first lost money. After I ended up installing these parts myself, which I wish I hadn't as it cost me a lot of time to learn about, I realised I would definitely need help to install the 2 thermostats which KnowHow gave me some discount to do for me. At this stage, we made the first arrangement for a technician to visit to install the 2 thermostats and when he arrived he said it was a 2 man job and he couldn't do it so he left. After this failure, I was very upset and I called up and a member of staff gave me his word that he would send 2 technicians to complete the job this week. Incredibly one man turned up this week on his own and told me it was a 2 man job and he couldn't do it so he left. This means that KnowHow lost even more money paying for the technicians time when they could have just sent 2 at once. I have so far taken 2 days off work for these 2 displays of incompetence and now I will have to take a third day off work if we can finally arrange for 2 people to come to install the 2 thermostats. I can barely afford to do this. This is still an ongoing situation where I am having to chase KnowHow myself rather than them reaching out to me in order to try and arrange a definite date where 2 technicians can come to complete this job. If it is common knowledge that it requires 2 technicians then why have they twice sent one person on their own? I suspect KnowHow has already lost around £1000 with this ongoing situation and it is not how a company can make money.
