Firstly, I was blown away by the result! The process took four months but over that process, they get a general idea of what kind of ring you would like to design and gem wise. With this, you send in reference photos and general wants. Then over the next while they slowly work out ideas through sketches and help you figure out what you want even. When it is being finalized, they show you select gems for the center stone and do a great job of keeping you updated on the final result. Eventually, when it gets sent to you it even comes in a nice box with the engagement ring and wedding band (if you get one which I recommend! You can do some seriously fancy stuff with it).
