I contacted the company with the following
“Just installed the kit I purchased from your company.
There are two problems.
The clutch will not disengage fully. The lever has free play until half way in then moves the slave cylinder piston smoothly without any sponginess. System fully bled. No air in the line.
The original clutch perch for the left mirror is left hand thread. Your supplied perch has a right hand thread.
Any idea how to rectify the first problem?
The second problem will require a replacement clutch perch or mirror.
The bike is a 2014 Victory Gunner”
Their reply.
“Thanks for contacting us! Sorry it's giving you trouble.
These are questions more suited for a dealer or mechanic.”
I replied.
“The original clutch perch has a left hand thread for the mirror.
The hydraulic perch you supplied has a right had thread.
How is this “more suited to a dealer or mechanic” and not a problem for you to address as it’s your product?”
Their reply.
“I do know this much. This kit is made for a Cross Country or Cross Roads type bike. It does not appear to be designed for the Gunner.”
Needless to say I will not be buying from the company again.
