When I paid for my order, I found that my Mothers Day discount hadn't been applied, so I phoned the Daniel office in Leeds and was immediately refunded the overpayment by Jennifer, who couldn't have been more helpful - she even emailed to confirm. My shoes arrived only 2 days later, but unfortunately they were unsuitable so again I phoned Daniel where Andy advised me to take them back to my local branch where they would initiate the refund process. By the time I got home, I had email confirmation that a full refund had been made to my account. The measure of a company, for me, is when something goes wrong and how that is dealt with, or the system is tested and found to be lacking. In this instance my shopping experience was a total pleasure - right from the browsing stage to this, the moment I felt enthused enough to write a review which I don't usually do. 10/10 for customer service - thank you!
