This was my first experience of Daniel online and I was disappointed with it. The bag was filthy and was scraped along one side and at the edges. I needed the bag to match shoes which I had bought in the Daniel shop where the service was excellent.
Not used to online shopping, I wasn't sure about returning goods. I decided to try cleaning it up to see if the marks would fade. It took a bit of time but it cleaned up well. There were still faint marks but they were hard to see.
I'm sure that any manager would have given their staff a roasting if they had offered a customer a product in that condition in the shop. Why is it OK online? Maybe because the customer is not physically there to complain or reject it? There was a ticket inside the box to say the item had been inspected. I doubt that!!
I will not use Daniel online again as I cannot trust it. However, the shop itself gave me an excellent experience and the staff were extremely helpful.
If you want to encourage online services you have to do better than that. I expected more from Daniel.
