Great customer service received from Decathlon. I ordered a pair of wellies a week before Xmas and received them a few days later and a day earlier than stated. Unfortunately they were the wrong ones. Same make, but cheaper version. I rang Decathlon, and yes it did take a few hours before I got through, but considering it was 3 days til Xmas I did expect a bit of a wait. The lady I spoke to was incredibly helpful. She re-ordered the wellies for me, to be despatched direct from their Crawley branch and emailed me a return label for the wellies i'd been sent, which I managed to print off and post the same day. When I returned from the post office I had an email waiting for me saying the new order was being despatched. I emailed Crawley just to confirm this and asked if would they be here for Xmas, and they replied straight away confirming everything. I must admit, I had read all the negative reviews and had my doubts, but they arrived Xmas eve! Unfortunately, they were the wrong wellies again. The same as I had just returned. I rang Decathlon again not really expecting an answer, but my call was answered straight away. The lady I spoke to was again brilliant, very helpful and apologetic. She came to the conclusion that the reference number to the online product was wrong and as a goodwill gesture for all my inconvenience she upgraded my order to a more expensive pair of wellies at no extra cost to me. Again she emailed me a return label and I sent my parcel through the post office yesterday morning. My new order arrived in the afternoon, 3 days after Xmas day and the wellies are perfect! That's 3 pairs of wellies delivered to me in a week and I call that excellent service! Yes the online reference number should have been correct in the first place, but the customer service I have received has been brilliant. Thank you to everyone at Decathlon involved in my order.
