Bought a £2000+ XPS laptop. Would not always boot up on mains, recognise external hard drives and occaisional crashes. an unpredictable occurance. Reported poss issue in July shortly after receiving it. Did not improve and in aug they refused to replace an obviously unreliable laptop, insisting it had to be remedied via phone calls, updates and reinstalls. In other words try try and keep trying until you get so frustrated you give up and accept a substandard laptop and customer care, whilst having an unreliable laptop. They think this is good customer service!!! A more caring and professional service should be given, not this pathetic excuse for one.
Tried their updates and tweeks, problems were still there. How much more frustration are customers expected to endure!!!???
If it's not reliable, replace the thing as per sale of goods implied terms act. Dell must think they are above the law by refusing to do so.
