Terrible after sales
I waited 8 weeks for my divan bed only for it to arrive damaged and malfunctioning.
The fitter made me sign the documents confirming the fault and I had to chase Denelli for several weeks without any resolution.
After 16 emails Where I mostly repetead the same thing over and over again the manager responded
’ The manufacturer has said it is very unlikely the hydraulics are faulty’
2200 pounds later I have a bed that doesn’t work , can’t be lifted , doesn’t have hydraulics attached and is not working properly . Denelli has yet to come up with a solution and has to be chased daily .
Finally after a string of emails they offered to repair the bed in one month because ‘Italy is closing for Christmas’ and all that without any admission of fault .
If they really cared about this being resolved they would have sent an engineer and ordered a spare part via DHL - it can be delivered overnight rather then inconveniencing me for 2 months .
I have asked them for a return or a refund due to the fact they need to comply with EC regulations for items purchased online .
They said they had too many requests for that and prefer to repair instead .
As far as it concerns me , I have purchased an expensive new bed and should be consulted if I want a repair and if I am happy to wait . In the absence of that I should be compensated partially or in full and not be forced to depend on someone’s abysmal after sales service while having a faulty bed for months .
I would not use this company ever again .
Their goods are expensive Italian design Chinese manufactured goods and I wish I read the negative reviews before I decided to purchase.
