The stools are flawless. But the customer experience I had after they shipped was dreadful and one I will never forget. As soon as I got notification of the shipment, I emailed Denver Modern to hold the shipment. That didn't get actioned timely and it shipped. Per their instructions, I had to then download the FedEx app, create an account, and go on "vacation hold". I did all of this. I kept getting notices that the delivery was coming. I kept reaching out to Denver Modern like "What is going on". The barstools delivered while I was not home. And a very kind neighbor picked them off my stoop and brought them to my landing (on 3rd floor). There are huge email threads covering all of this. It was incredible stressful. And could have been avoided if my initial email was answered/addressed promptly. As for the product -- barstools are superb. 10/10. As for the customer experience, not so fun 1/10.
