I hemmed and hawed about these stools. So hard to buy online. The owner must of seen these in my cart and reached out to me. His answers to my questions and kindness helped me pull the trigger and just get them after reading the hundreds of 5 star reviews. The chairs arrived in high quality shipping boxes.. Two Sturdy cardboard boxes, wooden stabilizers, white bag, and foam protected them. They arrived quickly in perfect condtion. They make the kitchen look beautiful! BUT most importantly they are comfortable and supportive. I was concerned about the low back but it is not an issue at all with us. I thought I wanted a swivel chair but my husband reminded me that in the past the swivel chairs chiped the granite in our old house; so I am thankful these don't swivel. These are counter height which work well for the island. I think I can slide a plastic bag and then a towel over them if I get grandkids who want to eat spaghetti on them. I have not had spills yet so I can not speak to the ease of cleaning them. I love these chairs!
