I haven't used mine in "the wild" yet but I will in a couple weeks. I'd borrowed a buddy's and it worked great and prompted me to get one. The only complaint is that it doesn't include the wall charger, only the cord. I had to go and buy one because I don't have any USB-C wall chargers.
