Between Kristin @ Equipt Expedition & Devos I cannot express my gratitude on customer service, 5 stars & top drawer. Today I received the replacement 800 LightRanger 1/4-20 Adapter in the mail, I notified Devos phone call leaving a message thanking them & I will be sending back the 800 LightRanger Adapter to them Monday.

“I got the LightRanger 2000 mainly for camping trips, but since it’s still too hot to go camping, I’ve been finding other ways to use it. Recently, I needed to install a hitch receiver on my car, and the LightRanger 2000 came in very handy. Even during the daytime, it had more than enough light to illuminate the area around me.
The Devos app was also very easy to set up and connect to the light. Being able to control the light through the app is really convenient, especially when the light is 10 feet up in the air.
The tripod that comes with it is solid and sturdy, but still lightweight. One of my favorite uses so far has been barbecuing in the backyard. I normally use a headlamp, but wearing one on your head for a long time can get uncomfortable. And a lot of times, I forgot to charge it. The LightRanger solves that problem and does a great job lighting up my cooking area.
Another thing I really like is the battery life. Since I got it, I haven’t charged it once, even though I’ve used it for several hours. The battery is still around 40%. I also noticed that the light itself doesn’t get hot, even after several hours of use, which is a nice bonus.
Overall, I’d say it’s a very versatile light. I originally got it for camping, but I’m finding plenty of other uses for it around the house.”

“First purchase. Went all in on lightranger 2000 ultimate kit. Also ordered movement sensors and batteries. And the Starlink mini adapter. The whole system is amazing. Figuring out some gaskets to take the take the movement out from between the light and the battery, as well as between the battery and the mini. Fair amount of play, so going to try and stiffen those areas up. Overall a 10 with minor deductions for the stability of the accessories attached to the top of the lights. Looking into the table now!”

When the battery is attached it is difficult if not impossible to put in the provided storage bag
Also the lights turned off after several hours but upon review the extra batteries were fully charged. They were plugged into the light from the out port on the battery—don’t know why!? No directions provided with purchase - disappointed with that! Know I need to call and try to figure it out! The bags should be big enough to hold the accessories when. Installed-disappointed

“The light head on the light ranger 2000 is great. The app works well. I’m impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone. For product improvement, I would recommend that the latches on the tripod be improved upon. They don’t scream high quality like the rest of the package does. I bought the motion sensor with my purchase. It works well and is probably the best addition I could have asked for. If there were some added functionality for the motion sensor in the app, that would also be a great addition.”

“Excellent product. The light is very bright and is perfect for a camp site or as I used it. I setup a portable ham station near my fire pit. The motion sensor was perfect and the ability to use the app to change colors to yellow or red and adjust the brightness was great. I love the heavy duty tripod and the hight. “I placed an order for a battery and desided to purchase a second one for my star link mini. Unfortunately the second battery wasn’t working so I emailed Devos to see what they could do for me .
