“Lights work great. Two improvements I think would be nice are: 1. The seasucker mounts should allow for the lights to swivel so when mounted on a surface that is not level then you can level the light. 2. Bluetooth needs better connection. Lags and you can’t turn the light on if it’s been off for a certain period of time. This functionally was a big reason I purchased.”

“The lamp is great. The pole is just okay. The clamps on pole are plastic and seem like they would break easy if they are adjusted to tight. The legs spread out pretty far and take up a large footprint. You can set the legs closer together for a smaller footprint, but the lantern gets pretty wobbly if adjusted all the way up.”

“Only issue- Once you turn off using bluetooth connection you always have to power back on physically and establish the connection. I changed the settings for 12 hrs and still had trouble with this function. We want to use it on the range for night fire and it will be time consuming if you have to establish the connection every time you turn off via phone. I will continue to try and troubleshoot issue.”

“Update: Customer service did send out a new order to me as UPS was just sitting on the ticket with no response and I did receive my purchased item within 3 days.
I have been waiting now for two weeks after delivery said it was delivered. Delivery snapped a photo of a property that they said they left it at and it was not there. Still waiting on customer service. The picture was the one UPS sent me. Not my property”

“I like the light I purchased (LightRanger 200). It's functional, has nice features, and is plenty bright. I also purchased the Outpost Table. While it is functional, it's flimsy, and a bit of a pain to set up, and the bracket makes it harder to store the tripod in the included carrying case. Seems like an afterthought, and I feel that it could be better engineered. It works though.”

“Been using them at a RV site for about a month and they are great. The only problem I have so far is that one of my units has a condensation inside it but still works great. I hope the condition doesn't cause a problem because they are really great lights.”
“Like the light. We use it for cooking on our open fire pit in the back yard. Only thing is I wish the battery lasted longer & gave you some warning as to how much longer the light will stay on”
“Well I finally got to use my 2 new lights. My 1200 kickstart package is awesome a big hit at elk camp, I would have bought another one but you no longer have the kickstart package. My 800 we used in our outfitters tent for the kitchen. The light its self was fine for that but for some reason it didn’t stay charged for long. Not sure if it was because of cold or smaller battery than 1200. I feel I wasted money just by not buying 2 pack 1200 or 2 kickstart packages. Not overly impressed with battery on the 800.”
“the lights lasted maybe 5 to 6 hours total . I bought the solar panels and it takes several hours ro recharge . The lights themsleves are great and very bright and lighted my elk camp very well. I wish they held a charge longer , I even made sure that is used the 2 light feature instead of 4 and dimmed when I could. Another quirk was when they were out of battery power they just shut off no warning . Its a great product just expected a little more battery life .”
“Love most everything about the 2000 especially the integrated red and amber lights along with Bluetooth control. Also like the sturdy tripod with integrated stakes. Only complaint is the lack of documentation/training on the need to adjust a setting in order to keep the Bluetooth activated if you want to use remote control later on in the evening. We had a raccoon come into our camp late after going to sleep and I tried to remotely turn on the light but was unable due to a power saving setting I was never made aware of and when researching what went wrong could find no documentation on the setting.”
“So the log light works well with the motion sensor. Would be nicer to have a little red or green led to show it’s connected. Otherwise works well . Bag to store not super impressed with. Can’t have everything. Will have to make my own.”
“Customer support is excellent, Devos products are high quality and well designed. It would be nice in future iterations to have eyelets cast into the 2000 light housing to facilitate guy lines (I fabricated a disk that slips over the topmost telescoping tube, with three holes for line attachments). The Bluetooth functionality, and motion sensor option are great for night ops and security of the campsite. It’s concerning that I wasn’t contacted with a recall notice when a known defect with the Bluetooth connectivity presented itself and my first unit stopped working. Fortunately it was not during an expedition. After hours of troubleshooting I contacted Devos customer support and was told it was as a known defect. A replacement was sent out and arrived a week and half later, an expedited replacement would have been helpful. All in all, a good product that I hope to use for years to come.”
“We love our light. I did call about getting a replacement bag and no one has gotten back to me yet. The bag it came in was ripped at the bottom and cheaply made anyway. I did get one email asking for a picture and then tried calling. I left a voicemail but never heard back. For the amount that I spent on the light and the filters I would think they could send out a replacement bag that is cheap anyway.”
