I got the LightRanger 2000 mainly for camping trips, but since it’s still too hot to go camping, I’ve been finding other ways to use it. Recently, I needed to install a hitch receiver on my car, and the LightRanger 2000 came in very handy. Even during the daytime, it had more than enough light to illuminate the area around me. The Devos app was also very easy to set up and connect to the light. Being able to control the light through the app is really convenient, especially when the light is 10 feet up in the air. The tripod that comes with it is solid and sturdy, but still lightweight. One of my favorite uses so far has been barbecuing in the backyard. I normally use a headlamp, but wearing one on your head for a long time can get uncomfortable. And a lot of times, I forgot to charge it. The LightRanger solves that problem and does a great job lighting up my cooking area. Another thing I really like is the battery life. Since I got it, I haven’t charged it once, even though I’ve used it for several hours. The battery is still around 40%. I also noticed that the light itself doesn’t get hot, even after several hours of use, which is a nice bonus. Overall, I’d say it’s a very versatile light. I originally got it for camping, but I’m finding plenty of other uses for it around the house.
