The lamp is great. The pole is just okay. The clamps on pole are plastic and seem like they would break easy if they are adjusted to tight. The legs spread out pretty far and take up a large footprint. You can set the legs closer together for a smaller footprint, but the lantern gets pretty wobbly if adjusted all the way up.
