Virtually all of my cordless power tolls are dewalt and for good reason, I have a dewalt kit I bought in 1998 ( torch, drill, circular saw, jig saw and aligator saw), among other newer technogies.
I changed the batteries in 2011 ( yes you are reading correctly) and the charger in 2015. I use them porfessionally and ALL are still working today! Can't say fairer than that!
