I booked ferry tickets for 3 adults and 2 children. While the outbound journey was booked for everyone, the inbound only allowed booking for the adults. Despite this issue being solely with the inbound trip, we were not permitted to board the outbound ferry because the QR code showed an error due to the mismatch in passenger count between the inbound and outbound tickets. There was no contact number available to resolve the issue, and communicating via chat was extremely frustrating, with a response time of 10 to 15 minutes for each query. It took two hours to sort everything out, causing a great deal of stress with little kids waiting for that long just before our holiday. We will never book with Direct Ferries again.
