Fine when everything goes to plan, as it did the first few times I used them, but if there is a problem, you find out that the customer service that sits behind the website is slow, unhelpful and I got sent repeated incorrect information about my crossing which caused delays, concern and was impossible to speak to anyone at Direct Ferries who could tell me anything useful. I complained and they wore me down - I gave up fighting in the end so will never use them again. Not worth the cost saving when you would rather have peace of mind should there be an issue with your booked ferry service.
