If you purchase a clothing item from a store, then subsequently decide you would like to return, with tags & receipt, they won't refund you. You can only get a credit note! The best & most successful retailers in the country (M&S, John Lewis) do not operate this like this. Direct Golf could learn something from them. American Golf on the other hand will - I try to buy all my stuff from them instead.
