I ordered a driver, umbrella and golf bag. The bag was out of stock but debited from my pay pal account. I contacted Direct Golf to be told the club was no longer available and yet the cost of this too had been debited from my account.
I was offered an alternative costing £269 for the same price as my original choice which had been reduced from over £300 to £233. I was also promised delivery before 12 noon on Saturday. I delayed my weekend away to await my purchase. 12 o'clock came and went, At 1pm I had to leave and returned on Sunday evening to a card pushed through my door stating "was unable to deliver, 30/5"
It was delivered today (Monday) but alas too late for my round of golf. I have been reimbursed £8.99 towards the price of the umbrella as a good will gesture. Not a good experience.
