The stand seems to be sturdy, and is reasonably attractive, but the hardware was confusing (packaged screws, etc. not marked with numbers corresponding to assembly instructions). The pictures of the assembly process did not give enough detail to clearly show which way certain pieces fit together. Also, we never found any screws to fit the holes to attach the shelf brackets. We identified the ones we thought should fit, but they could not be started. Maybe the holes were tapped before the finish was applied, but it is frustrating that we are going to find some to retap them in order to finish the assembly. Customer service at this company is sterling! They have worked with me to overcome the problems I identified and have provided a small rebate to cover our time and trouble. I would definitely recommend their products in the future.
