The display stand is very solidly built for the most part. The one major flaw was the lock or latch button that is supposed to stop the tv from rotating. It is way to light duty for the application. I simply took the plastic stop button out and welded a nut over the hole where the plastic button was. Then I threaded a bolt into the welded on nut so that the bolt lined up with the corresponding hole in the pivot plate. I think it is pretty solid now!
