I was concerned about this easel being stable enough for a 3x4 foot dry erase board and was prepared to return it if it didn't meet my needs. However it exceeded my expectations as it was very stable since it has 4 legs. I liked that it will function as a table top or floor easel. The top clamp is definitely a plus and adds to the stability if you need to write on on the board. Excellent quality product.
