We just bought a HEAVY 70" Touch Plasma TV. It's a sizable investment so we opted not to be frugal on the stand. So we bought a unit from Displays2Go. This unit was rated at 300lbs, and it holds the TV solidly with absolutely no concern. PROS: Solid, well built construction, I don't panic when children walk by it. CONS: Expensive -- $650 for ours. Would like an even more minimalist design like for the casters to be hidden.
