Very soft material. I've got short but thick hair, and with dock & bay it dried a little quicker. That being said , it does not fully dry hair, hair is still damp. I feel like it can't absorb a lot of water compared to regular towel. However it has made it easier for me to tuck hair in and keep it high up whilst I'm getting ready.
