It works — it dries me off after a shower. It dries itself quickly just hanging on the shower curtain rod. I like its color. It does take some getting used to. for it tends to roll on my body as I dry myself, rather than rubbing the way a typical bath towel does. I miss the rubbing, but I think I'll get used to it. The typical towel is too thick, and takes too long to dry itself off after use, and takes up too much space and time in the wash machine and the dryer. I haven't taken this towel to the beach, but I can believe that it doesn't attract or harbor sand. I bought it for home use. This towel works.
