Great marketing, and the product itself looks fantastic. You pack it in your holiday suitcase, and you’re amazed at the room it doesn’t take up. Even better when you’re packing several of them into a beach bag. Lying on them on the beach, great again - the sand doesn’t stick as all the marketing material says. In fact the only ‘flaw’ (albeit it’s quite fundamental) is when you’re wet, coming out of the (cold in the UK!) sea, and want to dry off. Then, truth is, it’s like wrapping yourself in a snazzily-designed piece of baking parchment. Maybe it’s worth the trade off for the weight and design - and I’ve seen it said that you can’t expect them to be a nice, warm fluffy towel because they’re ‘different.’ Maybe that’s fair, but I’m not quite sure they fulfil all of the criteria for a towel either way... Jury’s out!
