Not very pleased with. the quality of the towels. Extremely thin. You can feel every shell under you. Yes they seem to shake off SOME of the sand but only after shaking it extensively will you get the majority of sand out. I am talking Florida west coast sand. The colors are good and they do not smell after throwing them in the car for the trip home. yes they pack up well but the thin hanckerchif feel to them is not worth the money I spent. I will be requesting a refund for these towels as they are just too thin and do not live up to what is written about them repelling the sand.
