I'm only putting this comment as I have this afternoon seen soneone at a store trying to get people to sponsor a dog for £2.30 a week (why not say a tenner a month!) I discussed with this representative of the Dogs Trust that I had been thinking about adopting a dog (a small one) but each dog advert said you must have a garden with 6 foot fence and when I said I lived in a flat but there were lots of green areas around my property he bluntly told me as I didn't have a garden they would'nt allow me to adopt Shame really as not everyone lives in a house with a large garden and a high fence and as such any wee dog I would happy to take is losing out as are many more!
