The application process is ridiculous. I understand they want to make sure dogs are rehomed properly and not returned but they aren’t going about it the right way. There’s dogs sitting in shelters not being adopted and they’d rather keep them there than give the dogs a shot at a happy home. It’s close to impossible to have your application accepted and at this point they aren’t helping the dogs, they’re hindering them. This is why the majority of people are now adopting from abroad or going to breeders.
