I urge people to find a different insurance company. Had an engineer out today after 2 weeks without a tv only to be told that the insurance company had fixed it before had bodged it (which was them) - instead of welding the clips on they used a glue gun and cut bigger holes in the back to fit. The man told us today that it was a fire hazard and could burst into flames at any point not only that but if my 1 yr old had 'tapped' the tv then it could have electricuted him! So glad it broke rather than the other 2!! We have always used D&G and no others.
Didnt bother taking it away just condemmed it and told us not to plug it in - no explaination of what the next step is or what to do.
Anyone know of any decent insurers that will do things properly
