They 'can't find' our account on their system in either the UK, where the policy was originally opened, or in Germany where it was moved to after Brexit. Therefore there's nothing they can do. They've still been able to take a tenner a month on Direct Debit for the last seven years though. Absolute scam of a company. Unfortunately you only find out about these things when something goes wrong so buyer beware.
