I started as a DoorDash driver about a month ago, I am sad to see people getting cold food, lastnight DoorDash had me stack orders. I was trying to hurry and deliver. The last person I got to they had freezes, they melted a slight bit, when they came out to get the food I offered to get them fresh freezes. They declined, nice people. Whenever I come into an issue, even a minor one, I contact the costumer, telling them either that I can’t find their place (like if I’m in the area next to their place) or that I’m still waiting on their food to get done at the restaurant. I always contact them to make sure what is best for them. I always have the heat cranked in the car to keep the food warm even if I’m sweating. I think of the costumers. Lastnight after 10 I got an order for Little Caesars, I called the costumer to let them know that they were closed, the costumer said that they ordered it 3 hours ago! I felt so bad! Infuriated me that DoorDash just then gave me that order. I had a pizza that I bought earlier that I didn’t touch because I was too busy, I almost offered that up for them as I did not touch it at the time. I hope that DoorDash gets better. I am so sorry to the costumers that got horrible experience and I do not blame them for not wanting to use DoorDash again. No one should get cold food.
