“I ordered a $35 order, there were no dashers in my area, and all I got back for a refund was $10.88. doordash is a rip off and they keep your money and that's how they make money cuz they don't give you back the refund when it's their fault not yours.”

“First off I ordered at 11:30 pm and after about 5 minutes I finally got someone assigned to be my driver. They drive all the way to mcdonald’s which is not far from my house and then park in a random parking lot and cancel it. Then I get a new driver who gets to mcdoanlds parking lot and just sits there for 20 plus minutes so finally I message him asking him what happened. He says my ordered was delivered and good now. I finally decided to cancel my order and go to sleep an HOUR later. I am absolutely taken aback and disgusted and I will never use doordash again. Also not to mention after having 2 un successful driver I cancelled my $20 order and I doubt I am getting a refund. I believe my food was stolen and door dash is not going to do anything about it”

“Support didn't try to do anything to solve the issue. Then support accused me of submitting false reports to get a refund after I proved that order was not delivered to my door. Will not use Doordash anymore, because Doordash doesn't care about it's customer.”

“DoorDash is under contract through my local grocery store. This is the second time I’ve had no one show up from DoorDash to pick up and deliver my groceries. Apparently their employees just don’t show up. I had a $40 tip waiting for them due to the Christmas season. I can’t even get through to customer service to get a refund on the fee. I called the 855 number and there’s nothing but a steady tone over the phone. They saved me the $40 and also lost a customer so I will go pick up my monthly groceries from now on so I don’t have to use their service.”

“Terrible customer service, attempted to buy a giftcard worth several hundred for a friend and doordash was unable to process the transaction on a card (with an available limit significantly north of $50k) I attempted to reach out to support via the website and was literally disconnected multiple times about 30 seconds after an "agent" entered the chat. I then attempted to call the company using their support number 1 (855) 431-0459 and waited until someone picked up only to be told they were having difficulties and they asked me to call back in 2 hours.”

“Unable to set up account to redeem $50 gift card. Codes sent four times to my mobile and non of the codes worked. Help line, no matter what button was pressed, was in Spanish only. Unable to reach any one to help with problem. Total waste of time and money. Do not recommend.”

“I placed a order for some Tacos they were made incorrectly with onion which I cant have. I let door dash know via the app $32.00 order that I could not eat the app offered me $.85 for a refund. are you kidding me 85 cents on a $32.00 order that's a joke.”

“BEWARE. My advice: Pick up your own food or use Uber Eats. Let's put door-dash out of business. I, too, ordered food for my first time using DoorDash. I waited and waited and have yet to receive my food. I called the store, and they informed me that the driver had picked up the food, but I had yet to receive it. They informed me this was the 3rd time on this day, but they could do nothing. I requested a refund, and it stayed "under review" for 3 days. I finally found a number; they denied my refund request and were unable to tell me why. I submitted an appeal, but who knows where this will go?”

“Placed an order, had to add 2 items was charged for that, that’s fine. When dasher was “checking out” I was charged again for what I already paid for! Then you call and they say they don’t see that??? Then how does my bank get the extra charge??? There is an issue EVERY time I use them. Then you ask for a supervisor and they are NEVER there!!”

“I ordered a McDonald's meal and left instructions for driver to please come to side door. First I do not understand if you can't speak English how are you allowed to deliver food. The dasher couldn't speak English and brought my food to wrong address. I reached out to door dash and they said I had to wait 50 minutes while they reviewed the claim. I was denied my refund and spent my money on nothing”

“Most orders arrive missing at least 1 item. Most recently my order was duplicated somehow. Although I only received 1 order I was charged twice. I called to dispute and they would not reverse the charge. Will never use them again. Poorly run company.”
