"I'm never using this service again! The doordasher never delivered the food I ordered to the hotel I stayed at. I even waited 10 minutes outside of the hotel lobby door for my food and no one showed up. When I texted to complain, the customer service rep would rather believe the doordasher who said that they were waiting 20 minutes for me to pickup. Where were they waiting? Why didn't they just deliver the food to the front desk? If you ask for a refund, they can't give it to you. Instead they reorder your food and you have to wait another hour before you get it. Seriously not worth the hassle!"
"Order was missing food after I paid $17 in all there fees and all they offered was a credit on a future order! I paid $17 for delivery I want my food now! Horrible service I will never use again!"
"I placed an order for food from BarTaco in the Reston Town Center on Saturday, March 10th at 4:00 pm. I received an email at about 4:20 pm saying my order hd been cancelled. No explanation was given.
I emailed DoorDash customer service (as there is absolutely no phone number to call) and have not heard back."
"It would be ZERO stars if I could! Tried to order from a local Italian restaurant last Friday only to get a message on their site that it was closed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - which it definitely WAS NOT! Tried to order from the same place again today and got a message that I was out of the delivery area less than 1/2 a mile away? WTF?!? Tried to complain on their site, and of course I got a 'Submit Error' when I tried to send it. And there isn't any way to cancel my account to get my info off of the site."
"They way underestimate their delivery times. I ordered something from a place 10 minutes from my house - estimated time of delivery was 49 minutes - it's been over an hour and 15 minutes and still no delivery. This has happened before - I won't be using this service again. Too expensive to have to wait so long and the order tracking link on their website didn't give me the information it should or a phone number to call anyone."
"Ordered meal for 4 on a Sunday evening. Got email conforming order and saying it would be an hour.... so I say "ok,that'll work" and go about my business ... 90 min later still no food ... I check email... now they sent email canceling order (no explanation) and saying I'll get a refund in 3-5 days... what?... no call? They had my number!... first and last time to try their service... ugh."

"So after getting lied to and waiting two hours on Grubhub, we tried DoorDash again. We keep checking status and then order was gone. 20 minutes on hold to reach them, once we could find a phone number, they canceled order because restaurant didn’t answer or something and they just cancel but don’t bother to let you know. Can’t wait til amazon delivers in la Mesa, these guys will be history. At least DoorDash didn’t lie like GrubHub."
"Scheduled delivery for 10:15am... At 10:35am no UPDATE. Finally sends an update for 11:15am. The restaurant confirmed receipt of order at 9:30am...Poor customer service. Doordash is Horrible"
"This is the 3rd time a dasher had confirmed arrival and delivery of food to us and food just never arrived. Chatting with a rep, I cannot believe the dasher just gets away with everything. All the customer, like me, gets is not even an immediate refund to your card, but a Doordash credit to redeem - who wants to use their services again? No free delivery coupon, no “we will find another dasher to get the same order from the restaurant for you...” kind of thing. It is just an unreliable service."

"I wish there was a way to give negative stars. I’ve ordered from DoorDash multiple times, only to receive incorrect orders or items I didn’t order. Sometimes, they even brought drinks I didn’t order, or instead of two side items I ordered they brought four. DoorDash is very inefficient, the people who drive for DoorDash are obviously not intelligent enough to follow orders (if they are the ones placing the orders) at the restaurants. I have plenty of people come in and say “this is how your order was placed,” but I look at my phone and my app, and it’s totally different than what they have on their phone and what they’re bringing me. I’ve given DoorDash plenty of times to correct their mistakes and they simply cannot do it. I don’t know why it’s so hard to get things ordered correctly, they messed up a hamburger order. A simple hamburger order from McDonald’s got ruined. I simply don’t understand why they can’t get a handle on good customer service or accuracy at all. I will not use DoorDash ever again. They’ve been deleted from my phone. I would prefer to go hungry than have someone over charge me, and they do over charge quite a bit, only to bring me the wrong order. Repeatedly. I’m just simply not using the service anymore because they’re terrible, have terrible customer service, have idiotic employees or contractors whatever they are, and they clearly don’t care about their customers. In concept this might be a good idea but in practice it’s terrible. The execution is bloody awful. Do not use DoorDash it is absolutely terrible."
"Second straight order that my food was not delivered. Unreal... I will NEVER use them again. They suck"
"Tried the service twice and was not happy either time. First time I had an order that was incorrect and after I complained about the order I was compensated with $1.99. The second time I ordered the delivery was routed to over a city away to delay delivery time by over an hour. I was notified that my order was picked up by the dasher at 7:39pm and the estimated delivery time is 9:00pm at the early end. That is ridiculous. I will no longer be using this service and I will let advise others to be wary or even just avoid them."
"Don’t expect food that is warm let alone hot. They deliver multiple order and not even in close proximity. Order started out being 40 min and went to hour and 40 min. I think I’m done with them."
"Awful. Ordered food, they only delivered 1/2. When we called they said they would be back. An hour later they had not shown up. We called again and they told us they couldn't deliver because we were first time customers. Not sure why that would be the case even though the food was sitting there. They said that they would refund the food but it would take 5-7 days. Never again."
"I signed up, ordered dinner, my bank was charged (I checked online), and then site said I had no orders and there is absolutely no way to get help or contact anyone. It just keeps telling me I did;t order anything yet so I suppose they think there is nothing to help me with. BIG disappointment. Was hoping to find something other than postmates"
"The wrong order was delivered and there is no way to correct it. Your stuck with the order that was delivered and no way to remedy it. You an only chat with someone and they completely ignore you when you tell them to go back and get the right order. After waiting 60 minutes for the food to arrive only to be delivered the wrong order really sucks. Never using them again, ever!!!!!"
"I'm so very disappointed in Door dash and Zoes's Kitchen Lakewood Dallas. Every time I have ordered from there thru Door dash something was wrong with my order. This last time was it! I received the COMPLETELY wrong order something I couldnt even eat(that is why I order from Zoes for the gluten free options). I immediately contacted door dash and have yet to hear from them. I did get the automated response of we are sorry for this inconvenience and they credited back 3.95. Which is standard. I do not recommend Door Dash."
"I waited for my food for two whole hours, then when I get my food my order was incorrect, I was missing a sandwich. I called customer service and they refused to refund me for my entire order only for the missing sandwich and $5 more. Terrible company and customer service. This was my first time trying them and I will never be using then again."
