“I been a dasher for almost 2 years. Half time in LA with car. Last 6 months in NYC on ebike. It's crazy I don't know what's worse. Driving for them or ordering food. Always late. No refund so if delivery guy gets lost or is late. You don't get cash back . Customer service is the worst. They tell you to do things. And that's exactly what you just did and they tell you do it again and again. They don't get it. You tell em it don't work. Still they stupid”

“Door dash sucks I placed a order and the amount was $17.00 the driver stated that she couldn't find my work place so I sent her pictures of my work place and she closed out the chat and all door dash wanted to do was give me $5 back they are pimps I'm not using a service where they won't honor the customers”

“Anytime I place an order, I am unable to make ANY custom changes, and I don't mean anything detailed, just no ice in my drink or something similar. The bottom portion where these requests should go is completely grayed out, and no changes to the prompt can be made. It states instead that I have to call the restaurant to make special requests. The fact is that you cannot make special requests if you can't get the restaurant on the phone, which is impossible during a rush. When I called DoorDash, I was told that there isn't anything that they will do about it because the problem is the merchant. But if I call the merchant, they say it's a setting that's decided by DoorDash. Nobody is willing to fix anything, and everyone just passes the buck. I've now cancelled my DashPass subscription permanently.”

“Chipotle in Mayfield Hts. Ohio delivered by Door Dash less than 1 mile from the source. Glass full-sized Coca Cola bottle was open and poured out all over the meal. Why was this bottle open in the first place? Upon delivery, the entire $30 meal was ruined by this terrible packing trouble. The incident was reported within 24 hrs and a response from Door Dash never came. The incident was again reported 48 hours later. Door dash claimed they couldn't refund due to 24 hr rule. They just ignored the first report and avoided having to refund the mishap.”

“i had to deactivate my account cause doordash only wants to refund you what they want. then they want to give you credits instead of your money back. i paid 5.99 plus tax for my baby kids meal from wendy's that never showed up with the rest of the food. they gave me a 1.47 credit which they did not want to give cause they said the food was weighted and showed all of it was together. dasher did not speak enligsh and was no help. i have had to many problems with doordash and not receiving my food or it was made incorrectly to only lose out on money.”

“Driver didn't deliver to our door, I don't know where he put the order. He took a picture of our parking space, which is not in front of our building, for proof of delivery. Proof of delivery would be a picture of the order at our door, not a picture of our parking space. I knocked on the doors of the building where our parking space is and no one knows anything about our order. The building addressing is posted clearly on each building, along with the names of the residents. Doordash is reviewing to see if they will give us a refund. I hope they aren't as unobservant as the driver. If they trust a picture of a parking space to say it was delivered, well.....”

“Had "Charlie" from doordash deliver pizza from 5 miles away. Left $8 tip at checkout to hand deliver. It took 40 min. for a minute drive. On our ring camera shows he tossed it to door and took picture. Pizza was cold and all flopped to one side. We are done withb3rd party delivery.”

“I use DoorDash several times a week, and at least once a week I encounter the same concerning issue: the person who delivers my order does not match the photo or identity shown in the Dasher’s profile. When I first noticed it, I didn’t think much of it. But now that it’s happening regularly, I’ve reported it to DoorDash at least six or seven times. At this point, it’s hard not to view this as a legitimate safety and fraud concern — one DoorDash doesn’t seem particularly worried about. In today’s world, it may sound extreme, but how am I supposed to know the actual driver wasn’t carjacked, coerced, or replaced by someone who shouldn’t be handling deliveries at all? The entire purpose of showing a Dasher’s identity is to give customers confidence in who is arriving at their door. DoorDash should be taking this seriously. A basic face‑verification or fingerprint check before each delivery would go a long way toward ensuring customer safety and preventing unauthorized individuals from using someone else’s account. Right now, it feels like a major vulnerability that’s being ignored.”
