If I could give a zero I would. I was a very frequent loyal customer up until my needs where not meet a few times and I'm an at home parent. I called in after waiting 40 minutes for my order to be assigned. 2 representative GUARANTEED me it would not be cancelled and it would be pick up. I asked again because it closed in an hour. I called again 30 minutes before to another agent; the store closed I was told but they were trying. I said if I need to get it myself let me know sooner then later because I have a child at home and need certain items. I asked why did it take 3 hours and why was this so stressful and inconvenient. At the end of the day they cancelled it and issued a refund that does not go back for 3-5 business days so doordash send you a text to spend more money on another order like they did not just charge you anyways regardless of a refund you do not recieve immediately. I was NOT even given the option for credit. As a parent doordash is useless. If they can't find a dasher in 3 hours and my tip was not bad at all considering there fees are so high this is beyond me. I am a very upset parent. I will be removing doordash they are no good if your a parent. It's just another order to the system that might fail. Jokes on me lesson learned don't trust this delivery method, get your child items yourself or through other apps. If they could some reps would say do it yourself based off there poor English & insane lack of empathy or want to help. If anyone sees this and has any suggestions with app that actually do better I'd appreciate to read the comments. Thank you.

Got less than a half rack, got 5 bones!! Ordered a full rack, 13 bones per restaurant. Cost $88 for 5 bones and two salads were no more than lettuce!! Restaurant says it was a mistake. No refund was offered!! Why would DoorDash order only half the food we ordered, or the delivery person ate it!!

Had the DoorDash app installed to my phone about a month ago. Made 2 previous orders without issue. Ordered a few poutines and fries from a place not too far away (My son's birthday and that's what he wanted). Order was ready on time and the 'dasher' picked it up a few minutes later. They then proceeded to make deliveries "along the way" in the opposing direction of my residence. After 30 minutes of waiting and knowing I had another 'estimated' 15 mins to wait longer I contacted customer support. Long story short...they credited me for the tip I left but not for my wet, cold, and soggy food which I never received anyways. The reason being the order was already placed and that "sometimes we group orders together". Oh, really? I am supposed to know this as a new customer and never notified ahead of time? I would have never ordered it! Then I called customer service to get the runaround until I asked to speak to a manager. 24-48 hrs... really? I have used Skip The Dishes many times in the past and when they make a mistake, not only do they apologize, own up to it, and give you a full refund. DoorDash is the complete opposite. Even though it is clearly their issue and not the vendors, they deny any wrongdoing and blame it on everyone else. If this isn't modern day piracy and thievery, I cannot understand why they would rather have the bad publicity and shaming rather than being honest and refunding me for the money ($20) which doesn't grow on trees. Get a grip DD. I suggest NOBODY uses their service unless they have better accountability than this. Pathetic. Minus 5 stars.

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered my baby formula and door dash excepted the order just to turn around and cancel the order. They took my $40. I called customer service and told me they could not do anything about it and that I had to wait 5-7 buisness days. Some people don't have $40 to just throw away and it being for my 5 month old. If you cancel the order, don't take my money. That makes no sense. You didn't have to wait 5-7 business days when you took my money. Never again!

I am so tired of paying for food that doesn't arrive and when I complain they give me credits that don't even equal the cost of the reorder. Stop using door dash they are absolutely terrible and have the worst customer service!!!

When they make a mistake they make it your fault been dealing with thus for over a year I'm a single mom and don't get my order I still have to pay

I used to rely on Door Dash during a very difficult divorce where my son to be ex-husband took all the vehicles. I love out in the country and could always rely on this company and became friends with the drivers Lately my orders haven't been assigned d Dashers for hours and sometimes days on end. My refunds haven't been coming through and they changed their policy on the time it takes to process them while I was waiting for several to come through in the amount of time they originally posted. The best thing I have been offered is credits for their unreliable service.

Thief do not use them if you dnt wanna get rob they thief they driver suck they agent suck Agent cancel my order then tell me I will not get a refund never advise me I would loose my money if I cancel imagine I asked to cancel 40 minutes after the driver never pick my food up right after he pick it up they cancel to keep my food n money

Ordered asthma & allergy meds from Walgreens, Doordash ended up bringing it. Needed ID which I provided. Her phone app wouldn't work, she couldn't speak English, wouldn't leave my order, i ended up with no delivery & I called Walgreens ranting. They gave me a full refund +$10. Ridiculous experience for something so simple

Tried to order through DoorDash for food delivery to my mom yesterday for her birthday in the next town over from where I live, a 20 minute drive from my home to hers. I couldn't do so. Not only were menu prices for every single restaurant on the platform raised, but every single restaurant is set to "pick-up only". Why in the world would ANYONE order through DoorDash to get raised prices for menu items, but also have to pay the fees DoorDash charges, only to have to go pick up the food themselves anyway? If it's a go pick up food themselves, the customer is better off calling the restaurant & place a to-go order & go pay the real menu price, not increased price in person & take the food home. The only exception to this is that Little Caesars has their own phone app, so one doesn't even have to call in the order there, they can place the order through the Little Caesars app & not even have to deal with anyone because they go to the pizza portal to use a 3 digit code to get their order from the warmer.

They literally fleece you with COMPLETELY unnecessary fees. I can easily confirm you're being scammed with the additional fees they give you. If you want things to change, boycott the company and find other avenues. I hope the word spreads so this predatory corporation can get what's coming to them. I wish I could give them zero stars. In what world do you think it's necessary to charge 8 dollars for "additional fees" on a delivery that takes less than 10 minutes. A 22 dollar order turns into 40 from all fees and taxes, which in turn makes you tip the driver less so they suffer also

If you buy a $3 shake or $5 sandwich and something goes wrong they seem to approve refunds, however if you order a $40 meal with $10 tip and the driver brings someone else's food they will deny your refund. Make sure you educate yourself on how to file a chargeback with your bank or credit card so you can get your money back.

Doordash don't deserve any stars from me. I barely use doordash and so far I have had nothing but bad experiences, this time was the last time. I had my account deleted after they refuse to refund me or credit me for items I didn't receive and food that was not what I requested. I use doordash every three or four months. I would not recommend them to anyone. Everyone please use Uber Eats or GrubHub, please do not use DoorDash they do not care about people nor do they care about giving people their money back or a credit when a mistake is made at the restaurant. I think they think that everybody is trying to eat for free when they're telling them the truth.

Terrible service. I placed an order and I received a call saying the driver's car broke down. I was given 3 options - place a new order, refund or credit. I went with the first option as I still wanted the food. 40 minutes later I received another call saying the restaurant ran out of food. I requested a refund and called the restaurant for pick up. Turns out they never ran out. Even though I requested a refund, they refunded me in credits which apparently can't be switched to a refund. Terrible service. Will never use them again.

I've never had such a bad experience with any of these types of companies until I used doordash I had ordered two coffees and an English muffin which cost me about $25 the driver delivered it to the wrong apartment and when I tried to get a refund because I never got my order about a month ago I still have not received my refund they are not willing to compensate!!

New to DoorDash. Had location services on. Traveled to LA. Open DoorDash and assumed the app would pin my location appropriately. So just search the area for food. Ordered $55 worth of food. Then when it was delivered driver calls and asks where I was. Told him LA Sheraton hotel by airport. He says he is in downtown Seattle. Door dash refused to give me credit or a refund. Not sure how it was my fault for the app not pinning my location correctly. On top of it all, the Seattle location has no association with me or my life.
