It is awfully convenient if you don’t want to get out…however as someone who works in the togo industry where the majority of our business is door dash, I feel it is unfair that we (non door dashers) who do the work of preparing the orders, don’t get any of the tip.
I definitely think door dash orders should split the tip AT LEAST 60/40. Some tip is better than none, and us restaurant workers are working for nothing with Door Dash orders
