On October 30, I ordered a burrito bowl from Chipotle. I received a lump of guacamole.
When I reported 'wrong order', I was told that according to the 'rules and regulations' of DoorDash, I cannot get any compensation.
Which is to say: I paid 18USD for lunch, I got a lump of goo, and DoorDash told me to suck it up.
I chatted with two different agents for nearly 40 min -- as I was starving. I told them I have a proof of what I ordered and what I received. And that I reported within a minute of getting my order. They were nice but ultimately failed to help.
When I asked to cancel my account, they were prompt with. No problem there. Clearly, DoorDash thinks customers are disposable.
TL; DR: I was stuck with goo for lunch and DoorDash didn't care.
I have been using GrubHub alongside, and in my experience, they are much more supportive and care for customers.
If you don't want to be cheated like I was, stop giving money to DoorDash and switch to GrubHub.
