Placed an order at 5:30, from a restaurant less than 15 mins away. When tracking the order, I noticed that the courier name kept changing and the delivery time kept sitting at 23mins. After an hour of waiting , I cancelled the order and I got a refund. I then ordered a pizza at about 6:40pm. Around 7pm, I received a text that the driver was approaching to deliver the first order. I called the driver and tried to explain that the order was cancelled and not to deliver it, but he kept saying “it’s coming “ and hung up on me. I called doordash customer support and told them that the restaurant had already given me a refund and that I didn’t want the order. He stated he would call the driver, and have it cancelled. About 7:35pm, there’s a knock on my door and it’s the doordash driver, I attempted to explain to him again that the order had been cancelled and he said no English. So after a few mins I just pointed at the bad and shook my head no and he left. I’m not ordering from any restaurant that doesn’t have their own delivery drivers anymore. You show up 2 hours later with an order that has already been cancelled and on top of that, you don’t speak English. Why are you allowing people who can’t speak English to deliver.
