I have ordered from Oishi on Nov 12th and the experience is really horrible.
I placed the order at 5:24pm and the schedule deliver time is 6:25pm. I got a text at 6:26pm saying the dasher is waiting in the restaurant. I called the restaurant to see what the delay is and they said they have just received the order 20mins ago. My ordered had finally arrived at 7:25pm (An hour late).
The dasher gave me the food and said that everything is in the bag, when I open it and found that 2 items are missing. I called the dasher back and he said the restaurant told him everything is in the bag and I asked if he has count it, he just kept saying the restaurant told him everything is in the bag. I called the restaurant and they told me that they count with the dasher together and everything should be right. the restaurant said it is ok for the dasher to come back and pick it up. I called the dasher back and he said he have 2 deliver order now and he will go back after that, and it might take an hour or two. I get really frustrated.
I went on the app and put that items are missing and need re-delivery asap. The message came back saying someone will look at this in 1-2 days.
My friend ended up going to pick it up herself and I got a call from another dasher saying he went to pick up the missing item and someone else has picked it up already.
Here are the problems:
How come I put in the order at 5:24pm but the restaurant said they didn't get it till 6:20pm?
The delivery was ended up late for an hour.
When there are missing items, I have to do all the calling and it is really frustrating.
I didn't know the system will automatically send another dasher to pick up the missing item, I wish it can be communicate better.
I got charged $1.99 service fee for the 2nd delivery, this is not my fault and I'm being charge???
