They claim it to be the convenience fee for placing online order but do not explicitly mention that a "Convenience rate" is applied on the items. They claim they are providing ease of placing online order (over calling the restaurant). This is unethical and a hidden charge. This is irrational inflation on prices of food items. There is no way to reach customer support via email and the customer phone call team is only for delivery orders. The support team is rash on call and not prepared to assist customers. Doordash should shut its operations in Canada.
