This is the second time I've ordered from doordash and had a problem, I ordered through their website online for takeout. Each time I pushed the take out button it changed it back to delivery, and I had to change it back to takeout. I checked my order at the end to make sure it was takeout, it came to 16.19 with tax 18.00 something. I ask my husband to go to pick it up, when he gets there he's told your order is out for delivery. I check my receipt it's a delivery order and I'm charged 29.00. I call them to dispute it and I'm told the order says it's for delivery and that was pretty much that. Unacceptable, I know I made no mistake on my order. I should have known better than to order from them again. I don't care what they have as a receipt I know what I ordered and how I ordered it. Beware when using there app, because there mistake will be made your own. Unacceptable customer service, I tried chatting with them through the app, instead of helping me I was told we see it's a delivery order, the chat was closed before I was done with my response. So I start another chat basically the same happened. I call door dash and received the same response, at this time I'm heated, and yes I yelled to get my point across, when I see they didn't care I ended the call abruptly at that point we didn't have anything further to discuss. When ordering from them make sure you take screen shots from the beginning to end. If not they will not listen. As Im writing I'm receiving text, they want to fix it. No thank you, I'd rather worn the next customer to check their order from beginning to end.
