To note: I have used doordash twice before this event and have been happy with them in the past (which is why I'm giving them a 2-star instead of 1). However, I am very unhappy about the service today. I ordered my meal and 2 hours later it was still not delivered. The delivery was an hour late by the time we spoke to anyone (outsourced for sure) with the Doordash online customer service. While the guy was obviously going by a script, he was not very helpful. He eventually got ahold of the dasher who was "just getting to the restaurant now to pick up the food."....and hour after it was supposed to be in my physical hands. They offered no solution until I asked for a refund. It was given and my order cancelled. No further communication was made and no apology. I do not believe that they have good customer service and am disappointed with how they handled my situation.
